ABOUT RABBI SCHOONMAKER

Is the Rosh Yeshivah of Shapell's / Yeshivat Darche Noam in Yerushalaim, a dynamic institution that deeply respects the individual path of each talmid and sees developing skills in learning through expert methodology as a key for development of the whole Jew and the whole person. He was the Rosh Beis Medrash and a rebbe in Aish HaTorah Yerushalaim for many years. Rabbi Schoonmaker is blessed to be a talmid of four anashim gedolim שליט''א Rav Tzvi Kushelevsky, Rav Mendel Blachman, Rav Yaakov Friedman, and Rav Reuven Leuchter, and he feels their influence every day. He is married ro Rebetzin Dina and has many children and grandchildren כן ירבו.
